![]() You can book the Grand Floridian, but pack your food every day as you hit the parks. Maybe your priority is to stay at the grandest hotel. You can always book a Value Resort and the deluxe dining package. Eating is one of my favorite things to do at Disney. For example, maybe you are a foodie, and your priority is the deluxe dining package, and not where you rest your head at night. The beauty of Disney World is that you can combine so many options to make things work for your budget. Check their prices against the Disney website, and look for any discounts that might be available. But don’t trust that they have the lowest prices. You can also sometimes find deals on resorts through companies like Orbitz or Priceline. I have a list of authorized ticket sellers that can get you great prices and save a couple hundred dollars. Unless you can find a great package discount through Disney, you might want to consider buying tickets through a another source. These prices all assume you are buying your tickets and booking your hotel directly through Disney World. ![]() And you will even have time to spend a day at Disney Springs. Your kids will have access to a pool with a water slide. You will be at one of the most convenient resorts. ![]() You could realistically expect to spend around $7500 on the Contemporary Resort with 5 day Park Hopper tickets, and the regular dining plan (This assumes prices above, tax, and flexibility for extras). And it is walking distance to the Magic Kingdom. This resort is the original resort of Disney World. For this example we will take a look at the Contemporary Resort. Some people know that this might be their one and only chance to go to Disney World. Disney on a Budget: Deluxe Resorts and a Deluxe Budget This would give you most of your meals covered at quick service restaurants, park hopper tickets, and a day to spend at the pool or Disney Springs. You could realistically expect to spend around $5000 on Port Orleans Riverside, 5 day Park Hopper tickets and even the quick service dining plan (This assumes prices above, tax, and flexibility for extras). This is a fantastic option for any family. There are boats that take you to Disney Springs. We loved this resort because it was right on the water. This example is looking at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Well, at Disney World moderate = magical! So what can you expect to spend? How much can you expect to spend if you have a “moderate” budget. Maybe you have a little bit more in your budget. Maybe you want something other than the value resorts. Disney on a Budget: Moderate Resorts and a Moderate Budget You can spend a full day at each park, and even have a day to walk around Disney Springs or play at your hotel pool. That would get you a room at an All Star Resort resort, and 5 days at the parks with regular tickets. Keeping in mind that the dining plan is totally optional, and that you CAN bring food in to the parks, you could realistically budget around $3500 for a family of 4 at Disney World if you plan on packing food for the parks (This assumes prices above, tax, and flexibility for extras). ![]() You wont be disappointed.įor a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 10) let’s use the Pop Century Resort as our example.
